BOLLINGER, INC. ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT
WITH NATIONAL DEFIBRILLATION TRAINING COMPANY

Short Hills, NJ - April 6, 1999 - Bollinger, Inc. which provides comprehensive insurance products and risk management services to approximately 900 golf and country clubs and 125 golf associations throughout the country, has formed a relationship with SOS International, Inc. (SOSI). SOSI is a full service company providing emergency lifesaving and defibrillation equipment, training and other programs bundled into a unique Cardio-Trauma Programâ . SOSI is also the designated National Training Center for the American Heart Association. Through this program, Bollinger will encourage the clubs that participate in their insurance programs, to establish Cardio-Trauma Programsâ . The goal of the program is to reduce the number of deaths resulting from cardiac arrest. Each Cardio-Trauma Programâ includes the Medtronic/Physio-Control LifePak 500â automated external defibrillator (AED), SOS emergency oxygen and first aid supplies, as well as training for AED, oxygen, CPR and first aid, and a quality controlled service and maintenance schedule.

Each day nearly 1,000 Americans suffer from sudden cardiac arrest -- usually outside of a hospital. More than 95 percent of these people die, in many cases because CPR and a defibrillator are provided too late, if at all. According to the American Heart Association, golf courses are among the top five locations where sudden cardiac arrest occurs. At a golf or country club, even if a physician is available, each minute of delay (of CPR and defibrillation) decreases survival by up to 10 percent. After as little as 10 minutes, very few resuscitation attempts are successful.

"This program will absolutely save lives," reported Dr. Larry Starr of SOS International, and a member of the American Heart Association Scientific Council on Cardiopulmonary and Critical Care. "If a golf or country club has the CPR training and especially one of these smart AED devices, lifesaving can start immediately. Waiting for a rescue squad to bring an AED takes time, and reduces the chances of patient survival."
