Amateur Sports Insurance Products for Agents and Brokers

Under our Amateur Sports Program, we welcome brokers to bring their sports business to Bollinger. We currently deal with over 1,000 brokers nationwide and have done so for many years in this program. We pay a commission on all products -- typically 10% for most lines -- to all licensed brokers. Because we have exclusive arrangements with a number of different carriers, we can offer you a choice of products and coverages, all at competitive pricing.

We make it easy for you to do business with Bollinger. To apply for coverage under the program, please call us at 1-800-526-1379 and ask for the Amateur Sports Division or send us an e-mail to request an application. Forward the application to one of our Sports Underwriters along with hard copy loss runs and any other information requested.

That is all the work you will have to do! Our Sports Underwriters and Producers will take care of the rest. We will prepare a detailed proposal for you, which you may copy to give to your client. Upon binding coverage, we will issue the binders, certificates and policies for you directly from our office. Further, any additional certificates that you may need during the year will be provided for you within 24 hours of your request (or sooner, if you need it).

Claims are handled promptly and professionally through our office. For liability claims, we will prepare the first report of the claim for you and your client. We will outline the defenses available and forward the package onto the carrier for handling. Our Sports Liability Claims team then monitors the claim until its resolution.

Accident claims are analyzed, adjusted and paid directly from Bollinger's offices. We have a team of Sports Accident Claims Adjusters specially dedicated to this program. They are available to answer any questions you may have while the claim is being handled. In addition, they can provide claim forms in English or Spanish to suit your client’s needs.

For our larger clients, Bollinger will design, implement and maintain a Risk Management web site.  Through this web site, members of the client's organization can view a summary of coverages, obtain claim forms, check claims status on-line, issue certificates, view risk management information and purchase supplemental (optional) coverages on-line.

These web sites have proved to be effective communication tools and also have greatly reduced the number of questions or calls directed to the insured's staff.  These sites provide instant access to the insurance information at any time of day.
